I don't know, KN, they look like abs to me. And I'm a trained health care provider. I should know. (What I should know, I'm not sure... ) Lookin' good, in any event. You're not going to need bait. Ms. Right's going to turn toward you one day, and you're going to recognize each other. Maybe a fair amount of slogging through Ms. Wrongs before you get to her...or maybe not. But keep going, true to yourself, and you'll know her when she smiles at you.

My advice is to look back on this last relationship as a guide. Just think of it as this last Miz Wrong experience will help you to recognize/appreciate the Miz Right when you find her. And you will find her, dear. It happens all the time. Just cherish her when you've got her. (you never know how much time you may have with them) And don't let allow anyone make you feel the way the last one did. You deserve so much more in life.

    Take care!

Knot- Those are abs. You looked fine in those jeans and now they are way too big, Wow and congrats.

Ditto to what Xrayted and the rest had to say about finding Miz Right.

So just fyi, my damn toe IS broken

Bah. Went to the doc this morning after almost talking myself out of it ("Aw, it's getting better, isn't it? No big deal. They'll think I'm silly for coming in just for a bruised toe."). They took an X-ray and you can clearly see several spiral fractures in the toe. But the joint is OK and it's not displaced. So I get to wear a walking boot for 3-4 weeks. Of course, my first question was, "THAT DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T RIDE FOR 3-4 WEEKS, RIGHT???" And the nice thing about this office is all the docs are young-ish jocks, so they totally understand. And no, cycling, as soon as the acute inflammation is better enough so clipping in isn't really painful, is just fine. Maybe by Friday...

My theory is that bad stuff happens in clumps. Given the last couple of months, I expect that pretty soon I'll have a run of really good luck again...I truly believe this.

So I'm sitting in the basement at the computer while the construction crew is nail-gunning, sawing, and hammering over my head. My sister thought I should put my bike helmet on, since she knows someone who got a nail inadvertently in the head and it acted as an occasional antenna. On the other hand, that COULD serve as extra and unusual entertainment, depending of course on whether I like the music/messages coming into my head through the nail antenna..."Aliens communicate with Seattle woman through nail in head." Yeeha!

    Salsa,
I am sorry to hear your toe is fractured. At least you will be able to ride when the swelling does down.

Hmmm, nail in the head...probably not, although you could cut down on your cable bill.

I think many on TD are due for some good fortune to come around, the sooner the better.

Hah! I LOVE that. Our cable bill IS pretty big. Maybe we could get a wireless network going through that nail, too.

Snakes as the November theme would be perfect! Just think of all the herpetological good will we could spread...Wouldn't everybody like to get a baby snake for November?

It's amazing, though, that the shipping for that new snake you want is almost as much as the snake itself. But it's so beautiful, that snake. Think I said this before, but I still think that snakes look like really gorgeous jewelry.

    No WAY Salsa! Bummer!

Well, at least you know what's up with it and you can maybe ride. So it's not a toe-tal loss. (Sorry. )

We have a three-legged Manx in my apartment complex, I call him Trey. I haven't seen him swim, but he can outrun my little Miniature Schnauzer. Heidi isn't slow but Trey is lightning fast, he doesn't know he is missing a front leg! He also purrs like a train.

    Knot

Knot- The bra arrived and I am so excited. It is pouring down rain, yet I still want to go take it for a test run. Thank You!! I have yet to try it on, my first action was to come directly to the computer to let you know it arrived safely. Okay, off to give it a go.
