As always I"m a little pokey. I'm hoping to get my order in by the end of the week. Was there a translation of the words posted? I'd like to here that again. I'm leaning toward a ls jersey & maybe a jacket.

I went back & checked the sizes on post 117. I see you guys were razzing my team Polska guys again, lol.. Don't you know they are the motivation to get me through my races??!! Goss, I love red....'cept they don't look like that when they're ridin', hehehehehehehe

I think it is Latin, not Italian for "fast friends" (puns intended, I'm sure!)
    Keep calm and carry on...

Amici Veloci is supposed to mean Fast Friends in Italian, according to Babelfish. Maybe all this time we've been wearing jerseys that really say something like "When pigs fly".

Babelfish is correct. I knew Amici before, and asked my friend (who is fluent in Italian) about the word "Veloci." She asked in what context, and I told her, and she replied, "Fast friends, that's cute!"

Well thank goodness. I think when we came up with the name, we relied on bablefish. I always had this little nagging fear that we'd come up with some italian curse word.......

thanks - we will now return you to your regularly scheduled programme
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Never fear, fishie. My credit card and I may yet agree to disagree on whether or not I can afford armwarmers, as long as someone tells me how I know what size to get (the Voler site wasn't helpful) and as long as the postage over the pond isn't going to be exorbitant...

Great photo of y'all in your AV kit, by the way.
