    New (to me) Bianchi Mixte

I'm a Bianchi girl now! I have a new commuter, which I won on ebay. It's a fixed gear, which I'm getting used to, and I find I like. I put on new bars, leather grips, new brakes, cables, pedals, stem and a Brooks saddle from LisaSH. Silver seatpost will be installed soon. I have silver rear baskets ordered - inspiration straight from Xeney's pink Nishiki! I'm thinking it's late 70s or early 80s. I haven't really researched it yet, so if anyone knows anything about it, I'd love to hear. Oh, and I know I need to weed the Day Lilies.

    1. As it was on ebay
    2. As it is now!

I guess I forgot to whom I was posting! My grass needs to be cut, my flowers weeded, but it doesn't stop me from loading my bike on the back of my car and heading out on the weekends while I pass my neighbors mowing their yards. I feel guilty, for oh, about 1 minute. I do wish I had a little less than 2 acres to mow though!

Lisa, Indeed your sit bone dents ARE in Missouri. Thanks for your kind words. It really doesn't take much creativity, though, to see that the red bar tape just didn't work with the light silvery sparkly paint. I also think my bikes are getting closer and closer to that blue JC Higgins I had when I was 12. Thanks for the saddle and the extra proofhiding!
