    Back after a break

Too much stuff going on around home (not bad stuff, just extremely hectic), so I haven't been on here for ages. Been catching up on all your stories...good and less-than-good. I'm happy for those of you doing well, and my thoughts and prayers are with those of you who are facing challenges.
Hopefully I can post more now that I'm caught up on things around here. One high point of my summer was that I finally found a vintage (1960's) Falcon road bike to restore (vintage-bike nut that I am! ) Except for some minor cosmetics, I've finished her and tomorrow will be her first long ride.
    TTFN,
    Sherry.

Yes, many Attached are two. She's very similar to the Falcons I rode in high school.....way too many years ago to mention. Apart from the top tube decal, I saved the other decals, and almost all the original components (Huret drivetrain, Weinmann centrepull brakes. I did have to replace the rusted steel cranks and bb with Sugino alloy ones). I repaired the rust, scratches and dents, and sprayed four coats of duPont Centari enamel. The original Rigida Chromalux rims are really rusted, so I may have to replace them. Otherwise, she's good to go!
