So I was changing a flat on my front tire this morning, and as I struggled to get my tire back on I said "look you're too old to be this tight"

Of course my mind went straight to the gutter and thought of things bike related or that we might say while biking, etc. that if heard by outsiders could be misconstrued as naughty.

    Got any?

That is too funny that you posted this, because just yesterday I said a naughty thing to my bike that might have been taken wrong by a passer-by.

I've been having tire trouble (A LOT of flats lately and one blowout on Sat.). I got a flat (surprise), and was changing it. I happened to notice a big piece of glass in the tire. As I pulled it out, I srunched up my face and said "if you blow again, I'm gonna be p***ed." I meant blowout, but if you didn't know it- it might've sounded wrong.

This past weekend at the race in San Diego I poked my toe in the water and said "WOW! That's cold! I'm sure glad I brought my rubber for this race".... Of course I was referring to my WETSUIT!! But the young punk next to me got much glee out of it. He turned to his buddies and said " I never thought I'd hear a girl say that" and they had quite a laugh... ehhh whatever!!

Oh and one more tri related thing... One day at work a couple of years ago someone asked what I was doing that weekend. I replied " I'm gonna do a big brick tomorrow"... They then informed me that the term "brick" is also used in the drug world, so I should be careful who I say that to... Who knew??!!

In a race, I talk to my bike as one might talk in bed..."C'mon, baby, go, go, now's when you really hammer..."
