I love the idea of the a bike library. Do they have a webpage? My DH is on the board of our local bicycle coalition and he's always looking for more ways to keep people out of cars and on bikes, this sounds great.

I want to donate an old mountain bike, and was looking up the number of our local "bike library"--you can deposit $20 for a bike for a year, and, if you promise to ride it, you can eventually keep it--and I found this song by a local vocalist entitled "Prayer for a bicycle." Played it for mine (Coco), and she liked it!

The bicycle is the most civilized conveyance known to man. Other forms of transport grow daily more nightmarish. Only the bicycle remains pure in heart. ~Iris Murdoch, The Red and the Green

"Bicycling is a big part of the future. It has to be. There's something wrong with a society that drives a car to workout in a gym." -- Bill Nye
A bike library? I LOVE the idea! How incredibly clever! Makes me want to start one here. Maybe one day...
