Ok I need some help here.
I want to take my training up a bit and need to upgrade my bike computer to something that will help me keep track of my cadance at a glance. Now the question is sould I upgrade everything to include my heart rate monator and bike computer or just go with something that will track my cadance. I already have a ploar's S120 and the computer on the bike is a specilized comp that tracks the ride stuff but no cadance. I guess the question is should I spend the money for something like the Polar's 710, or just pick up something that will do cadence???
    What do you think?

I suppose that would depend on exactly what you want to track. If you wanted to really keep track of things and analyze all your data then the 710 would be cool. I've seen some of the stuff it can do and it's really neat, but that may be overkill for you. My husband has a Polar S210? (I think) that he can download into the computer and his inner geek enjoys that, but he also uses a coach. As for me, I've got an M52 and I do keep a spreadsheet with the data from it and my bike computer. I look at it some just to see how I am progressing, but I don't feel the need for graphs and charts. Sooo, all that to say if you just want to see what your cadence is while you are riding and you don't want all the techno bells and whistles, spend the $30ish on a computer. Just remember to get one that attaches to the rear wheel if you ride the bike on a trainer.

I have the Polar 710 with the cadence sensor. (Got the sensor for Christmas last year from my sister.) I keep the sensor on the bike in the trainer throughout the winter and then put it back on my road bike when "trainer season" is over. I like downloading my info, looking at my graphs and analyzing my riding.

Man I would love to have the 710i and is what I should have gone with in the frist place, when I started looking at HR moniters.
But now I don't have the money. (No job to pay for the goddies I want. but enough feeling sorry for me)
I guess altho the 710 is what I want, I'm going to have to look at computers that will give me my cadance at a glance without spending too much, and hope for a job this fall that will buy what I want.
