If you are worried, then you should get a new one for your own peace of mind. Compare the cost of a helmet to the value of your head/life. In my crash last year, the helmet was not obviously damaged, but there was a bump on my head and a brief period of unconsciousness, so I replaced it.
Oil is good, grease is better.
