I was going to put in a route on my favorite routing website for a ride I'm doing next weekend to get an idea of elevations. I typed in the url, rather than using my Favorites menu. Well there are 2 different websites!

    One is www.routeslip.com

    The other is www.routeslips.com

The difference is the s and the content. So if you don't like one, try the other.

I have used routeslip.com and created a few routes although I've yet to finish many as there are still bugs being worked out on the beta site.
I just went to routeslips.com and there is no way to create maps yet.
    Thanks for the information though

Yeah, I was one of the early registrants on routeslip. I was just surprised when I hit the other by accident.

umm - I can't find where routeslipS.com will let me register. I tried routeslip.com yesterday but it doesn't accept Mozilla browsers so I couldn't get it to display and toporoute.com doesn't show the bike paths in my town so I couldn't use it either to map a route *sigh*....I'll keep trying.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

    Corsair,
What I do to map the MONON on routeslip is luckily they still have the railroad markings on the map. For areas that weren't rails converted to trails, I use the hybrid function with the satellite images and try to adjust best as I'm able. I can't help with the Mozilla functions, but if you go to report a bug, the owner is real good about responding with a suggestion if possible.
    Good Luck,
    Mary

BTW, I'm still trying to enter my century route, but I finally got the breakfast ride which is the middle part of my century entered. http://www.routeslip.com/map.php?map=980
