August 7th - Updated order info for Jenny Ewing Tees

I have just placed an order with the T-shirt manufacturer for 267 tees. Via these forums, the family and pedal wench's biking group, a total of 167 shirts were requested. Since it's clear that there is great demand, I have increased the order to 267 shirts, so that those who did not chime in early will still have a chance to purchase a tee.

The T-shirt manufacturer has given me an estimated ETA of 2 weeks. After we receive them, I will contact the family, which requested a large quantity, to make sure that they are able to get exactly what they ordered. Subsequently, we will make an announcement, via the foums, that the tees are ready to be purchased by everyone else. PLEASE NOTE: We are not taking pre-orders or "reserving" tees for anyone other than the family. If you chimed in with a request, we would ask that you place your order as soon as possible after our announcement, to ensure that you get what you want. As I said, we've ordered an additional 100 tees over and above initial requests to try to cover demand, but can not guarantee your specific color/size.

We will be pricing the tees at $20.00 each, regardless of size. Assuming that all the tees sell, this will net about $1,500 over the total wholesale cost, which will go directly to the family's charity of choice (This works out to about $5.60 per tee). Team Estrogen will be adding an additional $500 to that donation. Finally, we will set up the order screen so that you can add an optional additional donation amount if you'd like.

I just logged on to post about how much I appreciate your taking this on. What I started was a good thing, but you took it and made it GREAT!!
You really are a pro in this area, so I'm glad that Leslie had the idea to approach you! And I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate everything you've done to get this done so effeciently! YOU RAWK!!!!

And it's not like your not busy running a business, schmoozing with georgie boy, etc. etc...

So now we need jerseys with the TE logo sublimated on them so we can do some free advertising for YOU at our races. And since I'm a back of the packer you would get LOTS of "face time"...bah ha ha ha ha

Seriously I would LOVE to have a jersey that said "I'm a member of TE" or something like that.... I know the hill slug jersey is out there, but I'm seeing something blue with a big yellow TE swirl in the middle and Teamestrogen.com underneath it. hmmm...
maybe it was done in the past?? I've only been around since last fall, but yeah... I would wear that PROUDLY!!

I would buy at TE Jersey also!!!!! Great idea, but of course first things first, I am looking forward to getting the tee shirt for both me and my daughter.

I concur. You are awesome. All of you are. Jenny would be so proud, and your willingness to donate to the charity of our choice is admirable. You are definitely making this process better - not just the tshirts, but the grieving also. Jenny was one of you. I see what a tight community you all are, and remember Jenny talking about some of the friends she met on the trail and how they shared so much in common. She truly loved it!!!
