    Favorite for hot weather

    Hello all,

Just wanted to share my favorite drink (no - not that kind! ) for hot weather... we are having uncharacteristic heat and humidity (102 today).

I make lassi, an Indian beverage. There are lots of variations (you can add fruit, for example), but my favorite is:

    1 cup yogurt
1 cup cool (not iced) water
    pinch coriander
    pinch ginger
    pinch cumin

Blend well, and drink! YUM!!! I find this more refreshing than anything else we have in the kitchen.

    Anyone else want to share?

My all time favorite drink for hot weather is just ice cold bubble water with a slice of lemon. In fact - I rarely drink anything BUT bubble water - with or without the lemon

Okay - at the risk of making a fool of myself...

    What is Horchatta?

    Me too.... horchatta???

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

Horchata is yummy, it's a Mexican drink made from rice and milk and cinnamon...very tasty.
It's only worth it if you're having fun

Minor point of clarification - made of rice milk, with cinnamon, great over ice, great with spicy food. Oh, and only one t, making it Horchata

Rice Dream makes a very nice one, should be tucked away in the organic section. Looks white like milk, but doesn't wreck the tummy as such!
