    Question National Bike Registry

no, no, my bike's not stolen (yikes) ...

I had heard something about the National Bike Registry, and now that I have a bike I'd be really really heartbroken over losing, I thought I'd look into it some more.

A search of this forum led me to Trek420's saga at
    http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showt...=&threadid=711

Better late than never Trek420, but I'm really sorry about what happened with your bike! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I hope you're happy with the Mondonico.

At any rate, I'm thinking of springing for the family membership (10 yrs registration for up to 5 bikes at a single location) - to cover Lee's and my Romuluses as well as our other bikes.

Anyone have any success stories with stolen bikes recovered via the National Bike Registry ?

Wishing you all happy holidays, - Jo.

Thanks, no-so far the bike has not turned up, at 6 mo. I'll register my GT hardtail and I will imediately register the new ride. There are other national services to register bikes such as bomerang...anyone got comparisons on that? Success stories?

    TREK420...soon Mondonico
