I came across this forum yesterday hoping to find some more information about cycling and other women that cycle in my area. Within 24 hours of joining the Women's Cycling Discussion Forum, I learned some new tips about seats and pedals, read about other women that share my passion with riding, and was able to meet a fabulous woman who lives in my area. We are already planning some weekly rides with a couple of other women! I just want to say that this Forum is incredible!

Welcome! Finding this site was great for me too - like you, I was learning new things within minutes....
I was at a local sporting goods store (Hoigaards) that sells bikes, and I had mentioned to the salesman that I had been learning a lot about women's cycles on a website. When I mentioned "teamestrogen" he admitted to paying close attention to it as well, as he felt it helped him to learn what kinds of cycling issues women were most interested. Kudo's to it being a great learning tool for all of us!!![]()
Wow! I haven't heard the Hoigaards name in years! I didn't know they sold bikes too -- thought they were just ski stuff....Originally Posted by Pascale
It's also exciting to hear that there are bike shop guys out there who watch this forum -- I haven't been sure that guys know what we want/need, and sure don't see any female bike shop employees in the stores I've been in lately!

Welcome
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
I agree totally with you. I just found this site a couple of days ago and have found lots of help, and information myself.
Plus all the support is wonderful.
Welcome! I too recently found this site and have learned so very much.![]()
