Has anyone heard anything about this? There was a quick bit on the news last night about a cyclist killed in Abington, MA by a hit and run driver.

Just curious if anyone knew any details.

I saw something about it this morning on Boston.com, but now I can't find it. They caught the driver.

I couldn't find it on boston.com either, but there was a short entry on page B2 of today's Boston Globe. It said that a man was charged in the fatal hit-and-run of a cyclist. The cyclist was Robert McCormick of Rockland; he was struck from behind. The accident happened at 9:09 PM on Sunday.

On the same page was an entry about a 9-year-old cyclist who died in Manchester, NH after he rode his bike into the intersection and collided with a van.

I hate reading stuff like this.

    Be careful out there!

Thanks for the info, Denise. That's really sad, and hearing about the 9 year old is tragic. I hadn't heard that story.
