I just wanted to say hi

I'm new here and only just was informed about this forum. I've looked around a bit and I think I'll be very happy here. I'm a mountain biker with a roadie boyfriend. We'll see who changes who's mind. Now I'll go check things out.

Welcome! We're a pretty friendly lot and too shy, as you'll soon read.

    Welcome Stacy

I am also a mountain biker....who now spends 99% of the time on the road...and dates a road-racer...who now rides mtb 2-3 times per week and kicks my butt in the dirt(be careful what you wish for ). The point being--it's all good! Isn't 2-wheeled life grand?

My husband and I are mtn biker's who also do some road biking. And now my husband is all excited about a local group that rides on the weekends and is already starting to talk about doing the crits this spring!
I think that means that all biking is good!!!
Except, of course, for the crazy free-style huckers!

Irulan I clicked on your link. Is that snow on the ground by you? Brave lady

My boyfriend rides a recumbent on the road, an easy racer, and he's really fast on that. I kick his butt on hills when we ride dirt but forget the downhills, guys are insane. I don't want plastic surgery in my future.

This looks like a great site, I wish I had more time tonight to browse around. You guys are great and thanks for the welcome.
