Good for you! I have yet to actually get out and do the hill repeats excercise. Of course, I don't have any real hills close to home.

I'm finally at the point, in my riding, that I mentally look forward to riding hills. I still don't like them, but I know they will make me stronger.

Hope you are able to get the picture posted. I've never posted one before. I can't even get a picture to load for an avatar. I have a picture, of my dog, that's the right size etc, but it doesn't load correctly.

LoL yes here i am and it doesn't work. Have to change picture size but don't have software for that
    Kerry,

I used to be afraid of hills too, simply because I don't ride a lot of them. But now I try to ride on them as much as possible. Too bad I can't post a picture

Do a google search for Irfanview -- it's free to download and great for posting photos. Once you have it, just resize the height to 500 pixels and the width will automatically resize. I believe that size should be fine to post on this site.

I just tried to post a photo and it worked fine. Here's the link:

    Fresh Newbie,

I may or may not be able to help but if you want to e-mail it to me, I'll try to resize it for you...

    Red face

Thanks to Tracy for posting my pictures! If I only remembered to take my camera on the ride I would take some pictures with me trying to conquer "hills" in New York. These pictures were taken in college campus where they have rolling hills that are short but some of them are steep. All in all 20 miles on them can be a decent workout.

    Ta-Dah! Gorgeous!

The second picture reminds me of a shot of Jessi Stensland, pro triathlete, holding her bike over her head. It's taken from behind, so you see her beautifully muscled back and shoulders.
