    Cheaper bar end shifters?

Can anyone post a link or brand name for some cheap bar-end shifters? I've found various shimanos, all in the $60-80 range. It seems like someone must've made some cheaper ones somewhere.

I've got a triple front and an 8 rear. Friction front would be just fine, but indexed rear would be nice.

I've found brake levers galore, and have pretty much given up on brake/shift combos because they are so dang expensive.

These would be to go onto a Salsa Poco to replace my upright bars on my Kona Dew. (cuz I can't leave well enough alone and must fuss with something on the bike at all times.... )

Suntour made some bar end shifters in the 70s and early 80s. Maybe you could find some used on ebay. They weren't indexed, but did ratchet. I used them for awhile - slower shifting than downtube levers and I broke cables too often.
