CA Triple Crown Stage Race

Here's a great account of the California Triple Crown stage race written by last year's winner (and the first woman to attempt RAAM - in 1983), Kitty Goursoulle:

My friend, double century and steep climb goddess, Karen, did the stage race last year. I think she may have come in last, which was a fairly sobering thought for me as she always leaves me in the dust when the road goes up.

Oh well! Something to think about for next year. Or the year after...

Hey - there's nothing wrong with finishing last. It WAS my plan this year. I'm going to try again next year if DMD is one of the stages again.

I can just see Kitty's write up.... and then there was this other woman... so far behind us... I don't even know her name
