I'm playing with the idea of switching to drop bars. My problem is that I can't figure out how to get shift levers (I'd really like brake/shift combined) that will match up with my Shimano Altus 3 front/8 rear. I wandered Shimano's website with no luck.

I'd rather not have friction bar-end shifters, but can't find indexed levers to match my current drive train.

I'd also want some in-line brake levers for the flats. Saw them on the Jamis Aurora. Seemed pretty cool. They were Tektros.

Anyone have a favorite brand of in-line levers?

Anyone know of 3/8 brake/shift levers that will fit Shimano Altus?
