    BATO Century route?

I know that Bike Against the Odds has added a full century route (with 10,000 feet of climbing!) but I can't seem to find out any information regarding the specifics of the route. Anyone have any information? I know the metric route from last year, but am wondering what torture awaits should I attempt the full century it the blazing September heat.....

Considering that the very first scary lump wore me out last weekend, that very last scary lump looks very frightening indeed!!

It's a tough route, but we're working hard to make sure it is well supported! And we took out South Park this year (though if you really want to tackle it....) Look for a special treat at the top of Pig Farm.

NO SOUTH PARK???? Yipppeeeee.....then I may try the century after all. The thought of South Park after nearly 100 miles had me queasy already! Can we start at 6 a.m. to beat the heat???

    Thanks for the information....

Is South Park that blue band in the last lump?? Just getting to Inspiration Point at the end of the day is a lot. Not that I can say this from recent experience, but I have some t-shirts from 1986 that bring back memories. The Grizzly Peak ends with that route, doesn't it?

Those training rides look like fun, anyway. Thanks.

In the first few weeks that BATO registration was live, in “team registration” section, the field for “Choose your Route” was not a required field.

For BATO to prepare for water stop supplies, food, beverages, etc, they need a relatively accurate count for each route.

You can still change their mind even the day of the ride but it they want to have a basic estimate for planning.

Which route will you be riding on September 10th?

100-Mile Century ride – 10,000 feet of climbing
    65-Mile ride – 6,000 feet of climbing
    47-Mile ride – 4,000 feet of climbing
    30-Mile ride – 2,660 feet of climbing
    12-Mile fun ride!

So if you're registered see you there. You may have get an e-mail from Jessica Fewless at jessica@breastcancerfund.org asking you to declare which route

I'm registered with the Velo Girls team but you can find a team, form a team, register individualy...just hope to see lots of you there.
