ugh.... stunt road! that just puts a pit in my stomach! that's part of the mulholland challenge... only they put it at the end..... so after you've already ridden and climbed all day... at mile 90-something... they send you up stunt road! YUCK!

this is my second time doing the double metric at the grand tour.... it's one of my fave rides... so purdy! (except for one part that i dread.... around camarillo.... it's so barren... not even farm land.... just... YUCK! it's after you descent potrero.... you make a right... then another right... then that section... i hate it! lol! but the sag stops are good and they have a nice lunch and great bar b q after! LAW has been doing it for so long... they have it down to a science! we even go back and redo it with them in september (grand tour lite!)

    Oh BC68!!!
I was thinking it was going to be July when you came out to Ventura County!!
Bummer that you will there and not be able to ride.
If you change your mind let me know...I am just doing a quick 35 miler (4000 ft of climbing) and I am starting at 7am..
If not then hope to catch you next time you are out this way!

HAHHAHAHHAHAA! Karen... clearly you're nuts... LOL... 35 miles IS quick... 4000 ft climbing is NOT! We have a loop down here called The Great Western Loop... 42 miles with 4895ft climbing... I have a DOUBLE... 53/39/27... nuff said.

I look forward to riding with you sometime... but you gotta promise not to hurt me.
