Have they compared chocolate milk and white milk? Is it something in the chocolate or just the protein in the milk? I ask because I don't like chocolate.

Right Margo... first you buy a cow... jersey cows give full creamy milk...

Next, buy a large quantity of chocolate... feed it to the cow... milk the cow... voilah! warm, chocolate milk... or just leave it to cool down, and you have cold chocolate milk!

    Easy

I think the recipe is something like 3 tbs sugar and 1 tbs cocoa. Put it in a cup. Mix in just a little bit of milk and stir it to a smooth syrup, then mix in more milk (hot, or cold, or hot then chill and serve cold). I use level tbspoons of sugar and a heaping tbspoon of cocoa. I like it darker and not too sweet.

    Thanx Duck
I reckon I could use powdered down Demerara - I am trying to eat as non-processed and as home made as possible

Of course now RoadRaven will say "Sprinkle cocoa on a piece of sugar cane and suck"

I bet honey would work too, for a slightly different flavor.

Smart, Duck - we have our own bees too.
And carob trees if I feel like that. Carob and honey is great. Not chocolate of course, but tasty

Well, do I need to say it? Isn't it a given?
