Was at the airport watching the action, when an elderly gentleman rolled up on a pristine mid-70's Peugeot U-08. I mean, this thing was MINT. And completely original, too. Groovy metallic purple paint in perfect condition with gold decals, all original French components, chrome fenders, "rattrap" rack, and cottered cranks. Anyone remember cottered cranks??? These bikes were a dime a dozen back then..everyone had one, they were pretty heavy but great quality and supremely reliable. To see one now in such exquisite condition was a real blast from the past. Oh man, how I love classic bikes.
