    Diadora shoe sizing

I am looking at several of the Diadora shoes, in particular the Geko and the Chili. But I am confused about sizing. Several sites have different size charts for the same shoe. I typically wear a size 9. Some say this would be a 40, others say I might have to wear a 42. Team Estrogen warns that they run small. Anyone with experience on this one?

In my experience, 40 tends to be more of an 8.5 (it's what my Asics and Shimanos say on the labels too). Have no experience of Diadoras though.

    I think the Diadoras run a bit small. I have a pair of Diadora Skorpiones. I wear a 6 - 6.5, which usually is a 36. But my Diadoras are a 38.

I usually wear a women's size 9 shoe. If this helps at all, I can wear 41 or 41.5 in Sidi shoes.

I tried on a pair of size 42 Diadora MTB shoes a few days ago and they were definitely too big. I'd say go with TE's Diadora sizing chart and get the 41.

Performance has the Geko and Chili dirt cheap right now. That's what I'm thinking about getting, too. I'm usually a 9.5, but my metric size ranges from 39 to 42 depending on brand. I intend to try them on at the Seattle Performance store. If my plans go through (and they do tend to go awry) I'll let you know what I end up with.

Yes, I was looking at both of those shoes at Performance as well. Unfortunately we do not have stores here in NY , have to settle for the internet. Just wanted to save myself shipping the wrong size back if I didn't have to. Thanks ladies...

    Diadora shoes

I want to purchase the Diadora 06 Geko road shoe and im not sure what size to get. I wear a womens 9.5, and when i looked at charts it says to go with the 42. I am fairly new to riding and is just getting interested in it, so i am not really sure about the shoes and how they are supposed to fit. If anyone has any information that would help please do, thanks!

I just got some men's Diadoras in a size 40 (tend to be an 8.5 in US women's sizing). The women's 40 seemed a bit small and the 41 a bit large. I guess they're just quite a narrow shoe - other men's shoes I tried all seemed too wide.
