eagle watch - chainsaws?

Nanci - Are you still watching the eagles? (do I have to ask). Is that a chainsaw I hear in the background? That has got to be disturbing to poor mr. or mrs. bird. First egg is due to hatch Monday, right?

There's a woodshop under the tree somewhere. You can also hear a dog barking, and sometimes a person yelling at the dog to be quiet. It's not as isolated as you'd think. It's a populated island, with little cottages, and the eagles are right in the midst of everything.

The woodshop is very noisy today. Did you see the most recent switch? Dad had to push mom off the eggs- she wasn't going to go! Happened about ten minutes ago.

Actually, it might be chainsaws. The forum says Doug, the property owner, is out working in his yard, and the birds are used to it and don't care.

Thanks for the info. I figured you would know I'm not supposed to view streaming video here at work (fed gov't you know), so I just did a quick check and heard the chainsaw. Yikes! Too bad I missed the switch. Sounds exciting! You're lucky you get to watch it! Enjoy.
