I might be interested. We could conceivably drive to Portland as there is a bus that goes to Umatilla from there Sat the 9th and then back at the end.
I have friends that live across the river from the Portland Airport where we could stay.
Have to figure out the finances. It would be fun and specially nice to go with YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! Nancy

But actually, I looked into it a bit more since I posted about it, and it seems kind of big for my tastes - there's what, 2000 participants?
hmmmm. I realize that's nothing compared to the AIDS ride, but I'm a little put off by really big crowds.
But thanks for the offer !
