So cool! on My walk I just took I saw a whole bunch of quail and then when i got home I heard a chirping in my back yard and there was a tananger. ( I call them big stick birds cause the color reminds me of the pop cycle)

I've been wandering around with my camera too. Most of the pictures in this gallery were near home (eastern Massachusetts) - with the exception of the purple-edged pansies which were from my sister's garden in King of Prussia, PA. It's nice to see signs of spring, even though we did have a good snow day this week. Thankfully that white stuff is gone again!

I am jealous of all those critters you all are seeing! All I have here are mourning doves, magpies, sparrows, wrens, finches and starlings...not a possum or skunk or real wild thing in sight!!

Isn't it great to have warm weather for a change!??

    Melinda,

What kind of tree is that with the pink blossoms? The form is so interesting. I like ornamental type trees.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Melinda, if you _did_ have skunks and possums and coons, you wouldn't have all those birds. You are lucky.
