I was there to see it in person
It was the gala following the World Figure Skating Championships in Vancouver a few years back.
If you think that was funny, the practice session where he rehearsed that routine was a riot. My friends and I were in tears, we were laughing so hard. Plyush was having great fun with that number.
(I used to meet up with my skating buddies and attend competitions - we'd have 3 or 4 staying in a hotel room, or more, to save money. We called ourselves Skating Deadheads. Ah, those were the days. I went to many interesting places back then - Vancouver, Vienna, Helsinki, ... um ... Detroit ... )
Thanks for bringing back a fond memory
