    it does look good and yeah having more bikes that are multi purpose without too much penalty is good

    NICE, and I noted it has internal cabling. I was a SRAM gal and don't know much about Shimano Ultegra but I suspect you know a lot more about that than I do. It looks like a nice multi-purpose bike - how can that be a bad thing? Nothing wrong with expanding your Jamis herd

    I have 105s on my current road bike, but my partner has ultegra and likes it. Of course you know the mtb has sram, which I like as well.
