Click settings in the upper right and then edit signature - on the lower left.

Which page do you mean? when I am on the edit personal info page, every field has an edit option ( the little pencil button) except for the signature field.

    I'm on the vB4 Style.

I click at the top right of the page, on the word "Settings."

Then - on the lower left - under "My Settings" there are hyperlinked words that say "Edit Signature." When I click that, I am able to edit it.

I think you are going in through "My Profile" on the upper right, not "Settings."

So what's wrong with cornering like a roadie? Do mountain bikers weight the inside leg the way motorcyclists do?

Nothing's wrong with it. It's the "next level" of cornering. Much more body flexion and rotational movement than pedal up down and pointing the knee. It makes you a lot faster and more stable, and doing it perfectly is one of the holy grails of MTB technique.
