Where to buy stickers for road bike

Here's my thing. I cannot have my new Specialized bike repainted to my liking (I truly hate the current flat black style and zebra stripes) as I'd be losing the warranty on it. I was sure I could take it into a shop and have it redone. At the price it costs, I can't take the chance of not having it repaired if one day I have a defect in it.

So people told me I could have decals like this http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Auto-Matte-Bl...731e4f&vxp=mtr

But it is just plain colour. I'd like to get a degraded shade of dark pink/blue or something. Or at least some type of pattern that I'd like. I have not found anything while looking quickly through internet. Any ideas? I still want to keep the "chic" look and not turn my bike into a tasteless one with too much on it.

While typing this, I had a flash and maybe could give a call to a company near my home that does design things like those : http://julescommunications.com/en/car-lettering/ If they can make it for a car, they certainly could do something for me. hummmmm I'm pretty sure they'll be just as expensive as a paint job on the bike (which was around $400 - but it is the total and awesome job I'd get).

So if some of you have ideas, it would be helpful for me. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I will look it up tonight if I have time, if not, over the weekend.

Are you wanting to do stickers or a vinyl wrap? The ebay stuff is for a vinyl wrap. It sounds like you are wanting to change the color and look of the entire bike, not just put stickers (decals) on it. Am I right?

I don't know yet if I want to do a full vinyl wrap (haven't found any colour with gradients that I like as they seem all solid) or just try to use stickers. I'm afraid this option is going to be just as costly as having repainted by a pro shop and I don't want it to look cheezy either if style is not nice.

I'll try and see with our Spec rep to confirm I totally cannot do a paint job on it, even with a written confirmation that the bike has no bent/cracks/scratch in/on it prior to repainting. I'm dreaming...I know.

Edited: I called directly Specialized in Canada. Because the frame is under warranty for the life of it, repainting it voids the warranty. Unless the paint shop that does the job, wants to give me that warranty but they'd doubt it. Depending of the pain used, it could damage the carbon on the bike. Oh well....I guess it will be 1) some kind of camouflage, or 2) I change bike again. So option 1 is the only for me as I like the bike and would be afraid to change and regret it.

Muirenn....you are pretty close with your last link. Thank you so much. Appreciate your efforts. I'm sure I'll have the coolest (to me anyway) Amira on the road. hihi

What I will do I think is ask my brother-in-law who excels with photoshop to "revamp" the bike with my thoughts - on paper. It will give me a very good idea of how it would turn out and go from there. Why didn't I think of this before!!!

I don't want the whole bike to be redone with wrap or stickers. It would look aweful I think. Too much is like too little. Not mentionning the bubbles that could come out of it and allllll the cutting you need to do for all angles.

The black on the bike is flat. Very flat. Someone told me there is a wax (name I'd have to search for) we can use and it would make it shinier. I hate black on bikes (at least on mine and when there is too much of it) and need some colours. So a combo of just enough colour on the top tube. Can't really touch the bar with the Specialized name to it.

I picked a pic from internet to give an idea (same bike but my wheels are like the kuota picture)

And the colour I loved so much from my ex-Kuota

Maybe brother in law will be able to get me something out that would come out really nice. TBC for sure!

Thank you Trek. Will check it out.

M BIL will draw me something out of photoshop. Not now because he's just started treatment for prostate cancer but once he feels better he will attack my project. Will show you what comes out of this.
