Cyclist made my day

I had a frustrating birding day yesterday -- everyone else was seeing wonderful birds. A vesper sparrow! A whimbrel! Bobolinks! But not me.

I was cycling through Brooklyn's Prospect Park when at last I found an interesting winged creature:

I think he had done the NYC Century earlier in the day. I considered inquiring about his outfit but decided against it. After all, it's Brooklyn, and I didn't want to appear uncool.
