Carbon saddles for women?

I was looking at bike parts today and after reading on carbon saddles and how slight flex in them provides comfort, I figured I could give them a try. However, a quick search made me realize that all of these saddles have a very slim but elongated profile (142mm being by far the widest that I've found) that definitely seems more suited to male anatomy.

So, has anyone given these a try? What about Chinese carbon, any luck with that? I'm skeptical about these saddles so I'm kind of thinking going with Chinese carbon won't break the bank even if I don't end up liking the saddle, but I still don't want to be wasteful if these saddles just don't suit female anatomy.

Just to compare, my current saddle is a Charge Ladle (155x280mm) and it's fine but I feel like a slightly narrower saddle would be a better fit.

Can you get a Charge Spoon where you are? It looks like a narrower version of the Ladle.

I would have to order it in, but I'm considering it. When I tested the Ladle for a couple of rides, I reached the conclusion that I could have easily gone for the Spoon after all. I'll have to ask around and see if I could borrow one for a ride or two, just in case
Muirenn, I haven't tried a saddle with a cutout yet but I think I would. Sometimes I feel discomfort, especially during ascents - I suppose the cutout would help relieve the pressure.

I took it off the day I brought the bike home. The back was really comfortable, and I liked the fact that it had a "ramp" in the back, but I couldn't handle the nose region for longer than about 5 minutes. I replaced it with a Specialized Ruby, and eventually a Jett. I need a cutout.
