The wages of sin for a winter commuter

As I posted earlier http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=5325, I brought my son's dog home by bike this week. Since Josh was waiting for Harry upstairs, I left my bike in the basement to take the little dog up to him. We got to talking about Harry's test results and I (hang head in shame) totally forgot that I had not taken care of my bike. The next morning the front derailleur was totally "frozen" and I had to commute without my granny gear or high gear. It took 2 oz of Pro-link and 3 days of marination to get it free again. Word to the wise, NEVER forget to clean & lube after winter beach rides.
