Wow what a life, work 3 days and play for nearly 20. Best I could do was work 5 days and play 2 days.

In the last four weeks I've spent three days at the office, one day kayaking, and sixteen days skiing. We have crocus (croci?), scilla and wood anemones cautiously blooming in our garden. Our cat is blissful with sunshine and birds to stalk. I rode my road bike to work today, and it felt like flying.
I love spring

We have had a wonderful spring too!
I am not sure of the plural for crocus; we always call them croakies. They came and went, followed by hyacinth and daffies which have just about finished too. The crab apple exploded in blooms which might not be able to hang on through this evening's high wind warnings.
Having grown up in southern California, it still amazes me that sometimes little green shoots come back after winter.
But why am I spending so much time working at a job where I have to drive around in a car everyday?! (Because, except for the part about the car, I love it. )
Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.
