One Perfect Day - An inspiring story

    Hello all,

If you want to see the most inspiring cycling story I've seen in a long time, watch this:

    http://www.abc.net.au/austory/

It's about the tragedy that happened to the women's cycling team from the Australian Institute of Sport who were on a team training ride last year, when a car plowed into the group, and killed one rider (Amy Gillett). The story is about what happens afterwards to the remaining team members who survived this horrific crash, and their guts and determination to get back on the bike.

I was in absolute tears throughout the program, and I hope it inspires you too. It was shown last night on Australian TV.

    hey,

I watched it and am so amazed at the strength of these young women. I feel bad for the coach for seeing the carnage & being strong for the girls. An inspiring story indeed.

Def worth watching...if you don't have broadband & are unable to view the footage, let me know as i taped it...(shh..don''t tell the ABC..)

    You're welcome Trekhawk.

Yeah, it's one of the best shows on Aussie TV, but it's up against Desperate Housewives, so I admit I didn't get to watch it on TV, just the web version!

    Yep an Aussie.

But I heard about it in another cycling forum, and then watched it via the web.

I should change my viewing habits to watch more Aunty, but then again it's hard to go past Desperate Housewives!
