    new bike!

Hi all! I only started riding in April. My mom gave me her Schwinn mountain bike and I've been enjoying it very very much. I put slicks on it and a new seat and other little doodads to make it MINE. But, what I truly wanted was a road bike for roads and nice trails, and I wanted the mountain bike for the occasianal foray into the dirt. Couldn't do that with the slicks. But I digress....

Today, my new road bike arrived. Not NEW, but new to me. It's an old Bianchi, nothing special, certianly not one of the ones the true bike afficionados would drool over, but to me it's lovely. Needs a few adjustments and a good once over, oh and pedals would be a good thing, but soon I'll be riding it and can't wait.

Plus I can put the knobbies back on the schwinn and hit the trails! YEAH!

    Just had to share!

Hey Jessie! Congrats on your Bianchi (I am so jealous )

I also acquired a new road bike (it's a Trek, but it was a good deal) so I can do twice as much riding now!

Come back to Bicycling...we miss you

    yahoo!

One for the road & one for the dirt! Just like having a pair of shoes for every outfit...except better!
To train a dog, you must be more interesting than dirt.
