Tahoe snow-shoeing

Plan:

we could snow-shoe, x-country, downhill, snowboard, etc.

Go up to Tahoe. Week of March 27-30 (my spring break).

I have a place we can stay at for $30/person per night if we go mid-week (Mon-Thu, return Friday). Squaw Valley, really cool place - 70's motif: orange shag carpet, bed cubbies built into the walls, a couple of private rooms for couples, a room that was built around a big rock, awesome views of the mountain, fireplace, etc.

Wow Cindysue that sounds fab but unfortunately for me I wont be able to make it. Not having family close makes babysitting a bit of a problem and my husband is saving his holidays for a big trip we are planning later in the year.

I would totally be up for it, but my Spring Break is the week before. Do you have any time the previous week? My darling husband is away in Germany for six weeks March 1st-April 8th, and he left me with some Kirkwood passes. So I have plenty of time for the snow and riding. Becky

I, unfortunately, have babysitting issues as well. It sounds like so much fun, though.

great! actually anyone can come and go as they please that week. Just let me know so I expect you and can give you the address....
