    I put this in the gear column but no one replied. If anyone has a Garmin Edge 500 could they help me set up the Lap thing? I can't get it off the default. I'd really l like to set it for every 10 miles.K

    It should be press and hold menu, select settings, bike settings, auto lap, auto lap trigger and then select distance.

    Press and hold MENU.
    Using the keys on the right hand side, scroll down to
    select Settings > Bike Settings >
    Auto Lap.
    In the Auto Lap Trigger field,
    select By Distance.
    In the Lap At field select Custom
    Select 1 for the first field and 0 for the second field
    Select Done
    Press the Back key to back to the main screen
    Go for a ride.
