Lightbulb Solvang double training ride 3/5

I'm planning my long ride for Solvang, a 120+ miler for 3/5 in Marin County. The ride will be entirely self-supported, definitely tougher terrain than Solvang (but shorter). I don't know who all's planning to do Solvang aside from Veronica, but anyone's welcome. I'll probably start early, 7-ish, leaving from College of Marin parking lot in Kentfield.

This is a great route - and there are also plenty of bail out points to make it shorter if you decide you want to (which I may!! ) I'll be gone all next week in Tahoe, but I wanted to just throw this out there before I leave!

Unfortunately I'll be in Death Valley having finished the century on the 4th! I would have loved to come on this ride. Doing some of the Marin Century route by some chance?

Route will be a laughable TNT training route from Death Ride training. Laughable because it's like Grizzy Peak Century in that you go out of your way to go over a hill.

Veronica - I'll email you off line about time and all. I will only be sporadically accessible by email next week as signal in Tahoe is sketchy. (Does your school have "ski week"?) I have this day "booked" w/ DH for child care purposes. (DH having decided that he's "over" doubles).

Anyone else is welcome - as I noted there are plenty of bail outs for shorter rides. I recommend bringing or getting a SF North Bay Krebs map. I can copy the section but that map is invaluable.

Alas, we have two long weekends with Mondays off. I'm going to be "sick" next Tuesday so I can watch the racers climb Sierra road.

We've got a lot going on that weekend - play Friday night, the bike show on Saturday, so we're still debating. I'll probably get my way.

SadieKate you could do the beginning with us. It'd be good training for your century.
