Why Do Bees like Lycra?
I had never been stung by a bee until a few years ago road riding, right on my thigh through my shorts. Since then I have been stung 3 more times, always while riding! Once on the thigh mountain biking, once on the rear end mountain biking and Sautrday one got me on my shoulder road riding. Is my sweat particularly appealing? Is it technical fabrics? I know they like perfume but by the time I have been riding 3 hours I am pretty sure the perfume in laundry detergent or fragrance of my deodorant (I didn't have perfume on) has been overpowered by sweat. It is just weird, they really like me on the bike! And apparently it is 50/50 chance it will be road or mountain.
