Anyone tried one? Footprint looks good, cut-out, it would look amazing on the cross bike. The only problem is that it might be a hair narrow, but I can easily find that out.

    This one?

    I'd say it's a good possibility since you use a 143 and I need a 155.

That's it. The black and red would look amazing on the new bike. Still debating, though, since that's a good chunk of change.

I debated, finally got it, and returned after 2 or 3 rides.

    Can't know until you try.

I admit I was swayed by the fact that it matched my bike.

It is a good saddle. I did wish the cutout were slightly larger, and of course needed a wider saddle. But it could be perfect for you.

I'll try it and pick it up this week. I've been holding back on posting pictures until I've gotten everything squared away. Still need to order those bottle cages! And take it out for a ride, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. It was like 15 degrees today.

I was hoping for there to be a cheap one on eBay, but since Performance happily takes everything back, not so much. I did find a cheap Jett with hollow Ti rails on eBay, and in black too. But alas, stupid bid-bots got to it in the last five minutes. What was the men's version of the Jett? I might be able to find one of those.

I think it was the Alias, but I'm not sure they make it anymore. Maybe the closest is the Avatar? But I believe it's not quite the same.

In answer to the RubyToupe question in the other thread: my first Toupe, a 143, was a very light race model, 165 grams. It had zero padding. Traded for a Ruby in a 155, it was very similar, but had more padding, when it wore out, I got another Toupe in a 155, and it was identical to the Ruby. I believe the higher end Toupes have the least padding. The Ruby is most likely similar as whatever Toupe is in the same price range. Also helps to look at the weight, because padding adds weight.

Of course, it's relative, a Ruby has little padding compared to a Jett. It's not that much different than the lightest Toupe. The saddle in the link is a 155 Toupe, if that helps. Almost identical to the Ruby I had a couple of years ago. Of course, they do keep changing the models.
