I race on rubino pro slicks. I like them because they're really easy to get on and off, and thus far have held up well. Continental has a new thing out with a rear and front specific tire. I'd investigate that, especially if you're going to be racing in wet conditions.

!) from the hubby. I don't have any experience with other brands, but they are much better for sticking to the road through turns than the tougher touring tires that my bike came with. He says he likes them cause they stick to the road and always on sale... they wear faster than other tires though since they are pretty soft.
