Do you know where you can rent wetsuits?

I would call your local SCUBA diving shops... or maybe surfing shops.

I bet either one of those would rent out a wetsuit.

try calling some of the surf shops in Santa Cruz; if they don't have them, they will probably know where to direct you... let us know what you find out as I, for one, will be looking for the same thing later this year!

I am just guessing though... no tri's for me if they require a wetsuit!

Are there any bike shops in the area that particularly cater to triathletes? (Just an idea since the shop that I got my bike from rents and sells wetsuits)

Forward motion sports up in Danville may rent them.. Kind of a jog from San Jose though.. But maybe call the O'neill shop in Santa Cruz. They used to make a triathlon suit, don't know if they still do, but it'd be worth a try.

If you just google triathlon wetsuit rental California (maybe add a city) yu'll get all kind of listings for triathlons which have a wetsuit rental sponsor.
