How can I find out what model year my bike is?

I live in Japan and communicating with the locals can sometimes be a challenge. Several months ago I purchased a Trek 7.4 FX from one of the bike shops here. Because of the language barrier I couldn't find out what model year my bike is.
It didn't bother me at first, but now I want to know what model year my bike is. Here's what it looks like:
It kind of looks like the 2013 7.4 FX WSD, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated
