Another cyclist killed

Another cyclist in our area was killed today by someone texting and driving This has got to stop!

We don't often hear that level of detail about our accidents but there have been several pedestrian and bike accidents this summer. Just this past weekend, a motorcycle hit a 7 year old on her bike, knocked her off and ran over her. He left the scene but they found him later and charged him with alcohol related violations. The little girl didn't die though believe it our not!

Also, at the beach (many deaths happen there due to the six or eight lanes of highway and 250K people at any given time) a 17 year old boy hit a 15 year old girl and killed her. I'm not sure what he was doing, but he wasn't charged at the scene. She was out of the crosswalk.

All of this is very tragic.
