New bike 29er--sweet deal on CL!!!!

Well, I did it! I got myself a 29er. I have actually been searching CL for 2 years now, looking for that awesome deal on a used bike. I found it on Tuesday and picked her up last night.



The dogs decided to pose for the photo too. LOL

It is a 2011 Specialized Myka HT Elite 29er that I got for $400. I think I got a deal on this bike. It looks like it was barely used. The guy i bought it from said he got it for his 5" 3" wife and it was too big. it is a 19" (Large in Womens) and it fits me perfect. I am 5" 7.5"

I checked the geometry against my Gary Fisher HKEK and it had the same TT length but I still was not sure. After I test rode it, I knew I had to have it!!

I am actually giving my Gary Fisher to DH to ride. He has an old WalMart bike that I keep telling him to get rid of, because it is not worth fixing. So, now we each have a nice mountain bike to ride on the trails and at the skills park. I am so excited.

Since DH is going to be doing some off-road (car) racing out West, I am hoping we get to stop in Utah (Moab), to do some riding.
