POLAR 720i WEIRDNESS

I've got a problem. My cadence sometimes registers, sometimes doesn't. I've checked & the Bike Set is still set for cadence on. Any ideas?

I don't have anything helpful to offer. BF has the 720i, and is on a first name basis with the regional Polar rep because of it. That thing is so finicky, and unpredictable. We see the rep (who is always extremely helpful and never impatient) at every major triathlon/cycling event in Florida and Georgia, and there is always _some_ issue with the 720i that needs addressing...

So I've kinda bought myself a lemon, by the sounds of it. Thanks Nanci...at least I know I'm not alone with this finnicky product. When it dies I'll upgrade. I appreciate your feed-back as no one who sells them would be so honest with me. Cheers.

I think there are some old threads about this. I switched the jumper on mine with great success. Check this link for how-to . YMMV but it helped me.
