    Dear Santa

    I would like:

A single speed mountain bike, with 26" inch wheels and a suspension fork. . . . And a rigid fork.

And a pair of running snowshoes.

    Dear Santa,

I would like to keep my weight at 141 pounds and 14% body fat while eating all the yummy Christmas goodies that only come around once a year.

I know if I did more cardio it would not be an issue. Could you please close the school so I can take an extended Christmas vacation? That would give me time to ride my bike every day and run more.

    Thanks,

    Veronica

Dear Santa: I'd like to keep my mojo this coming year please. No emotional funks, no health issues, no injuries, no long stretches of bad weather, no cat illnesses, no pity parties. You get the drift, right? I'm in a better groove at the moment, but I'd really like it to stay that way. And I want to enjoy myself along the way. I care less what exactly I'm doing, so long as I have fun and feel strong doing it. It would be great, too, if my butt and thighs got smaller in the process.

Thanks so much. I'll leave some cookies out for you if that it'll help.

The cookies won't help Santa's butt and thighs!

Dear Santa, can you take my extra 20#s and give them to my 50th percentile height, <25th percentile weight kid? That would be great.

    Dear Santa,

I'd like some new cashmere gloves. Mine are holey.

    Dear Santa,

I would like a year full of mountain biking, camping and riding without injuries, and to be able to afford changing my SRAM triggers on my mountain bike to the new SRAM 10-speed X0 grips when they become available next year. A new pair of running shoes would be great! I really would like to lose this "apple" shape that I have, it might be a much smaller apple but it is still there.

hmmm, does chocolate-mint fudge sound good to you?

    Dear Santa -

I'd like to find a buyer for my tri bike please. You know I need the money, right? I promise to help you out with presents to all of my family if you could just help me out with this one detail.

PS - Will paleo cookies and goat's milk on Dec 24th help my case or hurt it?

    Dear Santa,

For one of the few times in my life, I'm in an amazingly happy place. 2012 is supposed to be "my year", and I'd really like that wish to come true.

Dear Santa: You know what a weather wimp I am. I really would like to cancel winter and have 65 degree, oh heck, make it 70 degree days, with no rain here in the NW. I just want to ride my bike without all those layers.

Please Santa, Oh Please. I want to ride my bike in the sunshine. Please Santa Please!!!!. I promise I'll be a good girl all year long. Really I will. I promise.

    Dear Santa --

I really don't need anything for Christmas this year. Instead, you could please focus on the wishes of my friends here at TE? And most importantly, could you give Mimi and Don some good news?

That's all. And I won't leave cookies - it appears everyone here has that covered .

I meant to add to the thread title: Purely Materialistic Wish Lists
TEers are so thoughtful, always thinking of other. It's such a great community!

This year, instead of getting presents of the kids teachers, we donated money to a charity in their name. And I'm signing up to volunteer as a Girls on the Run coach (I'm really looking forward to this!!!).

    . . . .

P.S. Santa--I think DH is covering the snowshoes . . . so all I need is that single speed bike. Oh, and for Owasippe to open back up to mountain biking in 2012 so I have somewhere to ride! Please, please, please!!!!

I need to google Girls on the Run - that sounds like fun!

    Dear Santa,
I'd like pretty much anything by Icebreaker. And some black boots.

And now I'm going to go to work so I can earn the money to buy it all for myself (when it goes on sale after Christmas).
