Mine try to get me to pet them when the alarm goes off. Other than the obligitory trip to the toilet, I don't sit down again until I'm in the car.

And it seems I'm not allowed to go to the toilet alone.

    dear miss ike,

Aha! I have it figured out- you start grooming my hair and head at 6:00 Am so that I will wake up enough to stagger out to the bathroom. When I come back you have kindly kept my bed space warm so that after I climb back into bed, you can snuggle against my bike.

    Dear Tux,

I do not appreciate you peeling my eyelids back to see if I am still alive on an hourly basis throughout the night.

I swear one of ours can tell time. It's not the morning though. She doesn't get the whole get up early thing. She is my husband's cat and she knows when he is supposed to be home. She gets really upset if he's more than about 5 minutes late. Time change threw her off. She totally didn't understand why he was coming home an hour late. Of course she didn't notice or care that he was leaving an hour later in the morning either. LOL

Our male cat can tell time: "It's time to eat NOW!!"

One of the dogs can also tell time. We usually feed them @ 7am and 5pm. 5 minutes before the hour Cameron will come and put his head in my lap and stare up at me. It's amazing.
